Based in Madeira arguably the Blue Marlin Capital of the World you will witness the most beautiful scenery whilst experiencing the thrills of formula 1 fishing. The most exciting big game fishing in Europe.
Due to our location 600 miles out in the Atlantic ocean and with depths in excess of 3000 feet you are going to encounter fish that
have an average weight of between 600 and 700lb. Unlike many other Blue Marlin fishing destinations we are very lucky to be able to hook up within just a couple of minutes of leaving the marina. We troll only our best and most successful lures to greater your chances.
In addition to the Mighty Blue Marlin our lures will also raise other pelagic species such as White Marlin, Hatchet Marlin, Spearfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi as well as Tuna species such as Blue fin, Big eye and more.
To optimise your chances of hooking up and bringing a fish of a lifetime to the boat Flipper II has the latest tackle aboard, along with 2 qualified captains and a highly experience wireman.
The boat is fully coded and insured. It is equipped with the latest up to date safety equipment.
What to expect on the day!
You can expect to be greeted by an experienced British captain and crew with introductions over a morning coffee. From there you will be taken to the boat for a full safety briefing where you will be measured up for the fighting chair and shown the correct way in which to fight a big fish.
Your comfort and safety is of paramount importance so we ensure you are happy and answer all your questions before leaving the marina.
From then on its fun all the way and hopefully returning with lots of stories and a fish of a lifetime.
Lunch and a selection of drinks are provided on full day trips.
All Billfish are released safely and time is spent making sure all fish are recovered well before they are returned.

OMG the best 4 days Marlin fishing ever. My mate caught a 600lb Blue Marlin on day 1. We had 2 rises on day 2 and I hooked into a 800lb Marlin but it unfortunately charged the boat and spat the lure.
