Marlin in Madeira – Late Season

So the season for Blue Marlin started late due to a cold winter here in Madeira.  We expected that the season would probably go on later than usual for the Island.  The temperatures here are well up on the normal for this time of year and the water temperature recoreded at 27 degrees today.  We are after a slow season seeing Blue Marlin being raised over the last few days so its a real postive point for the island and its big game fishing.  Its not time to give up yet on still getting that fish of a life time.

We will be trying to capture the wahoo which we expect to see at this time of year but fishing still with the chance of that big blue.

Of course we are still busy with bottom fishing which is also giving good results.
